Morning Fitness

In the Morning my dad comes to wake my siblings and I at 5:00 to go and run around our area but first we do some stretches. After we come back home we do some more stretches. Then we do some exerciser. Doing exerciser are sore. After we do that we take forever getting our stuff on for boxing. My dad hits us and we have to punch him on the hands.

Mum's Friends House

After Prize giving I went to my Mums friends house because my Mum was to busy to pick me up. I went to my Mums friends house and she started cooking devious food. While she was cooking food I went to go and play with her son. She was in a rush so I asked if she needed help but she said " no". While I was playing she called us to come to the table. First we said the prayer then we started to eat. I was so full. My Mums friend went to go and watch her program and after her program I had to go home.

Prize giving at Netball

After school the girls in the Netball team had Prize giving. A netball player from the fire birds came to see all the students that play netball. When we walk in to the hall there was not much people and when we sat there a little while it was packed. So many students played netball. Some people got to asks the guess some questions. Lot's of people got awards and some did not get any thing. My Netball team came 1st in the E section we were happy.

Science

On Monday, room 7 got in to 2 groups for science. Group 1 stayed with Mrs Tofa in room 7 and group 2 went with Miss Stone to room 3. I was in group 1 and we were learning about Movement and the Laws about science. There were 3 laws and the first one was about Acceleration. The second law was about Force and Inertia. I forgot the final law but you can search it up if you want. My group spited into 2 groups again. My group went to go outside and kick a ball and see how much pressure we need it to go fast and slow.

After we switched groups and my group had little cars so we can push it and see how much force we need to make it over the line. For the third activity we had to make a car. We also had to move the car with a balloon. Then the bell rang to go have morning tea. After morning tea we had to build a another car because Mrs Tofa broke it a part. We had a car race on the table and the winners were the girls.

                           

Clubs - Making Musical Instruments

Today in the afternoon all classes had to go to there clubs. Maraa and I went to room 1 because were in Making Musical Instruments. Our teacher was Mrs Kumar but she was not there it was Mrs Kelly.
We were making a instrument that kinda like a rattle.

Sunny Sunday

On Sunday in the morning we all had to wake up early to go to church. When we got to church the kids were having there holy communion. After church we went home and had some breakfast. When we all finished our breakfast we all were outside talking about our family when we weren't born. It was some funny stuff and some not so funny stuff. Then we went back to church to get some baskets of food. It was Delicious. So we came home and started playing with the leaves and throwing it at each other. Then we went on the road and played handball and while we were playing my parents came to pick my sister and I up.

Saturday Night

On Saturday I slept at My Aunty's house, and in the afternoon we went to my aunty's friends house. When we got there my sister and I was waiting outside because we were shy. Then we went in and sat down and went on the internet. While I was watching a movie the rest of them were talking to each other and getting to know more about her. There was a park behind there fence so we went to go and play on the park, we played ball tag. While we were playing my aunty went to go and walk across a lake and when she came back she said' I was chased by a dog". Then we all started laughing. After we had to go home because my great aunty was here to pick us up. When we got home we watched a movie then went to go and have a 1 hour shower then we watch another movie.

Friday Night

On Friday my Aunty told my Mum that her daughter and her was coming over for a visit. When I came home from after school care I had some food then I went on my computer to play agar.io. While I was playing I heard a knock on the door, so my sister ran to the door and when she opened it we saw my Aunty's. I went to go and huge them, then we all were on the internet doing some stuff. After we started talking to each other about what we have been doing. I went back on my computer and then my mum asked if we wanted to sleep at aunty's house then my sister and I rushed to the room and started packing our clothes. I went to go and say goodbye to my Mum, Dad and Brothers. When I got in the car I looked at the clock and it was 11:00.    
               


                                                

Culture Festival Night

Today, Glenbrae school and culture festival night. First we started the night with a prayer. The hosts was Mele and Levi R. The first group was Kapa Haka. I was in the Kapa Haka group and I think we all did good. Lot's of the students had to change into there clothes for there performance and going back and forth. There was lot's of groups performing. The biggest group was the Cook Island group. The student in the Cook Island group had to get a buddy and I got my teacher Miss Stone. Miss Stone and I was dancing and laughing.We all did well in our performance and I think our parents/teacher were proud of all of the students that participated. I know that we all were shy but we also gave it our best.

      CULTURE FESTIVAL WAS FANTASTIC

Kapa Haka Practice

After lunch the students in Kapa Haka had to go to the hall because we had to practice for our Culture festival night. First we started to get into 3 lines. Some people were away so we had to fill in the gabs. So the girls were practicing to walk back when the boys come walk to the front to do the Haka. The boys were practicing how to do the moves for the Haka. We all did a good job but some of us kept on talking and kept on moving around.


                             KAPA HAKA

Cook Island Practice

Today after school I had Cook Island practice. So for cook Island practice we went over the whole routine. First it was the little girls then the boys and finally the big girls. The whole group we over the routine like 4 or 3 times and were fixing our mistakes. We all did a pretty good job and it was really fun because I learnt how to do the dance properly. I also was hard putting my lava-lava on.

Crazy Relaxing Saturday

On Saturday we watched two horrors and then we all had breakfast. After breakfast we got a call from our aunty she asked if we can come over and we said "yes". While we were going there we stopped at a shop to buy some food to eat there. When we got there we cooked some food and ate it we also were helping the adults with carrying stuff. After we gave a hand to the adults we played touch with the neighbors. While we were playing we had to go to the airport because we had to get my Dad. My Dad just finish coming from Sydney. So we all were happy to see him and he also got us some stuff from Sydney.


                                    

Thursday Night

Thursday Night my family went to the Warehouse to bye my little brother Tini a dinosaur but there was no dinosaurs at the warehouse that he wanted. So my Mum,Tini and I went to go and look in the mall but there was no dinosaur toys. Tini was crying for long because he wanted a dinosaur toy. While he was crying we went to my aunty's house to drop my sister and brother off because my Mum, Tini and I went to go to the doctors. We all were waiting at the doctors over an hour because there was so much people there.

We went to my aunty's house again to get my siblings. While we were going home my Mum turned the car around and said " we are going to Kmart". So we got there and went to the toy area and we found dinosaurs so Tini gabbed a bunch of dinosaurs and my Mum payed for them. While we were at Kmart we saw a friend there we were surprise because the Kmart we went to was very far . We all were hungry so we went to Packn'save and brought some food. Finally we went home.

Saturday

In the Morning I woke up at 10:00 because I went to sleep pretty late. When I got up I went to go and eat some crackers. Then I went to the toilet. My Mum, Dad, Tini (Little brother) and I was in a rush to go and do my Dad's things for the airport. My Mum went to go and do my Dad's stuff while my Mum was doing that my Dad took us to the Library.


While we were there I could not do any reading because my Tini kept on running around but it was fine because I knew what to make him stop. So I saw a box of toys for the little kids and picked out a dinosaur and I said to Tini " if you stop running around I will give you this dinosaur" then he say "okay" so I gave it to him and sat down and played with so I got another dinosaur.After we went home and the house was so clean because my brother and sister cleaned it while we went to do my Dad's stuff.

                                                  

Kiwi Can

On Thursday room 7 had Kiwi Can. Only the girls went to kiwi can because the boys had a meeting in the hall. So first we had a talk about our new topic and our new topic is Problem Solving. After we did our energizer. For our energizer we played a game it kinda like rock,paper,scissors but you can put as many fingers out and then you have to add both of you and your partners finger together and who ever says the answer first they win.

After playing that game we went outside on the courts and play Turbo Touch. So some of the girls use a band and some of them did not use one. When we were playing some of us had to switch teams. It was pretty fun playing and the nice hot sun shining on us. While we were finishing our game the boys came and then we went back to the class. Then we played one last game and it was GKQ, when it was the last few people we went to do our scores and we got 25 so that was good.



                                              

Kiwi Sports - Volley

Room 7 had Kiwi Sport again and the sport was Volley. First we all got into partners because it was our warm up. We all had to tap each others knees and they have to defend them self from the other person tapping there knee. After we got into 4 groups to practice our setting. The funny part is when were practicing our spikes, some of us kept on missing the ball or else the ball went to the others. While we were playing we all got told to stand on the white line because our coach was giving us all a number.

 After she told us our number we went into the number groups she put us in.We all verse different teams and we were winners and losers. My goal in the game was to share the ball and get it over the net. Later on the next class came because it was there turn to play volley. Our coach told us that we are getting better every time we go and were doing well with our passes.

Saturday

Playing Volley with the Class

Today, the years 8's and year 7's didn't go Tech because the students at Tamaki College had Teachers only day. So when I went to school , went to class and our teacher ordered us line up out side and get ready for fitness. So we all got to the court into a big circle and then did our same old stretches. After we did our stretches Mrs Tofa told the whole class to run around the court 2 times.

Later on Mrs asked us if we wanna play volley ball or something else but everyone said volley ball. So we all went into our house groups and our house groups are Blue, Red, Green and Yellow. Also, we played each other in house versus house. We all got a hit so that was great. Then we kept on playing for 40 minutes. I learnt that you are aloud to kick the ball in Volley because I had no idea you can do that, I also learnt to work as a team and share the ball.

After school care

Today after school I went to after school care, First I went to go on the courts to play marbles. Then my mum came back with Acar and Awathan ( they are kids from Pt England that come to the program). So we went in to the room were we all go for the program and said the prayer, after the prayer we ate Toast and drank Water. After that we all had to do our homework but if you don't have homework then you have to get a work sheet. When we all have finished our work we get to go and have free time. For free time I played marbles outside. I was really fun and we all encourage each other to win.

Octopus

After Kiwi Can Room 7 went to go to the courts to play a game but every one did'nt know what to play?. So then we decided that we are gonna play Octopus. 

The three tagger were Maara, Jayden and I. Then we picked some people to run and then some students asked to play again so we did. We started again and the new taggers were Fusi, Mata and Luisa. They got a lot of people out really quick. While we were playing some of the students were cheating then, the bell rang and we went back to class. To have our delicious lunch.

Room 7 Kiwi Can Session

For our Kiwi Can session our kiwi can teacher was talking to us about Goal settings. First of all, for our energizer we went into 4 groups and got a hockey stick and used it as our stick to limbo under. Our goal for the game was to see how many people can go under the stick and to work as a team. After the Limbo we did an activity and it was to fill out a paper with some question about what your gonna do when your older and what are you gonna be. Later on we had a game of GKQ. Last of all we went out side to go and do some running around.

                                                           

Olympics

The Men's Sevens lost to Fiji this morning. Fiji scored first but NZ also scored and got the conversion(kick) in (7-5). Then in the second half Fiji led by another try, with NZ trying to come back. But by the time NZ got the ball it was full time and NZ had gotten a penalty which led to the turn over. The Fijian team kicked the ball out and won the game. Final points(12-7).           

Kiwi Sports

Today for Kiwi Sport we were playing Volley Ball again. First we went over with the most important steps in Volley ball. Steps like Serving, Digging, Setting, Spiking and three touch. Then we all got into partners and my partner was Luisa. Firstly we throw the ball at each other to practice our important steps.

 After we practice our important steps we played a game of Volley. We all got a number and then we went in to our teams. While we were walking into our teams we started the game. It was lots of fun and I learnt heaps of things about Volley.

Playing Marbles

After pearls of wisdom, I went to after school care. When I got to after school care the kids that are in the program got to play and they went to play marbles. I went to the courts to play marbles with them. I versed some people to play with me. I won some and I lost some. I also had fun playing with them.

                              

Lunchtime Playing Volley

At lunchtime,the bell rang to go outside and play.Linda Kiki and I was playing Volley then we went to the courts so others can play and most of my class was playing volley with us and joining in. We all got good hits and some not so good but it was okay for all of us and it was really challenging to get the ball to the other side. We all got a hit of the ball and we would pass it to the ones that only hit the ball once or twice. We were kinda encouraging each others. It was also really fun and I think the people that were playing had fun too.
