Kiwi Can

Today Room 7 had Kiwi Can with Mr A. First we sat on the mat behind 4 cones then Mr A asked Room 7 " why do we have to put our hand up " and we replied " because its confusing" and it was right. Second he was talking to us about Resilience and what it means, then he asked us " what dose resilience mean?" and we answered " never giving up and try your best". Then he said "what is our topic for this week" and we all shouted out Goal Setting and Room 7 said " it mean setting you goals.

After we played a game called Rock,Paper,Scissors. So to play this game everyone gets a peg and pegs it to your collar you have to pretend that the peg is your life and if you lose a Rock,Paper,Scissors then you have to sit down on the side line and who ever gets the most pegs out of the girls then the winning girl has to challenge the boy that has the most pegs too. First we had a practice round and then we had the real round.The winning girl was Mele and the winning boy was Levi G.Then they challenge each other and then Mele won.

Later on Mr A asked us what was our Goal when we were playing and it was to go to many people and win as many pegs as possible.Then we played another game called GKQ after that we went back to class.

Volley Ball

On Thursday the 4 of August 2016, Room 7 had Kiwi Sport and our sport was Volley Ball. Our Coach's name was Toni. The first activity we did was to get a partner and practice our dig.

Later on , we practiced our spiking over the net. We kept on running up and down the hill to get the ball because we did a few misses. Then we had to get in to a circle around our Coach and she said " Now I'm going to get you into groups".
 The groups were group 1,2,3 and 4.

After getting all of Room 7 into groups we played a game of Volley Ball. We kept on rotating , It was so fun but sad because some of us were not respecting the Coach. 

Seeing Sound

Materials we used for our Science Experiments:
Jar
Balloon
Scissors
Sugar

Step 1: We cut end of the Balloon 

Step 2: Stretch over top of jar

Step 3: Sprinkle Sugar on top of the balloon and then make a Humming sound.

We saw the sugar bouncing up and down.
I don't know if it was the sound that made it or our breath from our nose.

Ripper Rugby

Today room 7 went to the field because we had ripper rugby.Our Coach name is Matt and he is a member of Varsity club.So first we got our tags then he said we will play one game of bulrush.The tagger  was Mateaki, he got a lot of people in.

After we went to learn how to pass. So we had to get behind a cone then we had to run, pass, focus and call out to each other there names so they can catch the ball and that the ball is coming to them.

Later we played ripper rugby but five were on the trying team and three were the deafening team.So we all spread out and were passing the ball.We doing it for 10 minutes and then we played full time plus half of the field.

Finally we played full time and lots of people were calling out for the ball and sharing the ball to the other people that calling for it.Some people slipped that was funny because they were laughing too.

The Three Wise Cousins

As Adam walked past a beautiful girl named Mary walked pass Adam while he was eating a pie, she was so beautiful her eyes were sparkling, to him she was a dream come true ,to her he was a random man. After that her friends were on the bus talking about what type of guy they like and her friends liked a guy who’s a doctor and when they asked Mary what type of man does she want she said an ” Islander boy is my type like a real Islander boy”. Then he told his dad that he was  going to Samoa and the father of him said” why for”.

When Adam got in Samoa he went to his cousins and asked them if they can help him to get the girl of his dream. The next morning they woke him up and said” if you want to get a girl you don’t sleep in like this.

The cousins said to Adam “you got to climb the coconut tree” it took long for him to climb the coconut tree so the Taveta said “more climbing less gruning”. Later on they were sweeping the ground but the cousin Taveta said sweep it slowly.

Later on Mose said “before you plant the taro you clear the land”. So Mose was cutting it properly and Adam was ripping it out like a crazy person. Then the other cousin Taveta  was cutting it like a professional.

Adam then was holding some food on there two shoulders and Taveta said ” when girl walks passed  you there gonna be like umm yum. Adam was struggling to hold the food but his cousin Taveta was standing up like there was nothing on him.
